NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 21, 2022) - Grand Ole Opry stars Dailey & Vincent added another accomplishment to a long list of accolades last week, making history when their rendition of Karen Staley’s “I’ll Leave My Heart in Tennessee” was unanimously voted on and signed in as an official state song by Tennessee’s Governor Bill Lee. The honor came just a few days ahead of the GRAMMY®-nominated duo’s 5th anniversary as members of the Opry.

“We’ve played ‘I’ll Leave My Heart in Tennessee’ on the road for quite some time, and every time it’s gotten an overwhelming reaction,” said Darrin Vincent of the song. “We recently recorded it, and we’re honored the recording has made history and become an official state song.”

“We’d especially like to thank Senator Paul Bailey and Brandy Foust, Representative John Mark Windle, Representative Terry Lynn Weaver, and the entire House and Senate for their interest in and support of this song,” added Jamie Dailey.

“On behalf of Springer Mountain Farms Fresh Chicken, I would like to say that we are very proud of our ambassadors, Dailey & Vincent,” said Gus Arrendale of Springer Mountain Farms Chicken - a longtime supporter and partner of Dailey & Vincent, and sponsor of their American Made Music Festival series and road tour.

Known for offering listeners “the best of country, bluegrass, and gospel this side of heaven” (USA Today), Dailey & Vincent recently announced the expansion and rebrand of their festival portfolio - The American Made Music Festival series and road tour will include five dates and four locations in 2022, kicking off in June with a two-day festival (June 10 and 11) at The Sand Mountain Amphitheater in Albertville, Ala. (convenient to both Birmingham and Huntsville), and featuring headliners such as four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year Award-winner Martina McBride; four-time Country Music Association Group of the Year Award-winners Diamond Rio; hit songwriter, original Statler Brothers member, and Country and Gospel Hall of famer Jimmy Fortune; and, of course, festival hosts Dailey & Vincent.

Dailey & Vincent Expand Festival Ownership, Announce Five American Made Music Festival 2022 Dates and Locations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 10, 2022) - Country, bluegrass, and gospel GRAMMY Award®-nominated group Dailey & Vincent announced today the expansion and rebrand of their festival portfolio - The American Made Music Festival series will include five dates and four locations in 2022, kicking off in June with a two-day festival (June 10 and 11) at The Sand Mountain Amphitheatre in Albertville, Ala. (convenient to both Birmingham and Huntsville), and featuring headliners such as four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year Award-winner Martina McBride; four-time Country Music Association Group of the Year Award-winners Diamond Rio; hit songwriter, Statler Brothers member, and Country and Gospel Hall of famer Jimmy Fortune; and, of course, festival hosts Dailey & Vincent. VIP tickets for The Sand Mountain Amphitheatre date go on sale tomorrow (1/11), with tickets open to the general public beginning Friday (1/14). The festivals are presented by Springer Mountain Farms, which continues a long and ongoing partnership with the group, and built by APEX Entertainment Management in tandem with local promoters and operators. All five festival dates and locations are as follows:

June 10-11, 2022 | The Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheatre; Albertville, Ala.

September 15-17, 2022 | The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds; Hiawassee, Ga.

October 7-8, 2022 | The Jackson County Airport; Gainesboro, Tenn.

November 11-12, 2022 | Capitol Theatre; Wheeling, W.Va.

December 2-3, 2022 | The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds (as part of ChristmasFest); Hiawassee, Ga.

“I can’t begin to explain how excited I am for Dailey & Vincent to announce our American Made Music Festivals,” said Jamie Dailey. “We look very forward to bringing our fans five festivals with different lineups of artists including yours truly. We’ve always believed in working hard to bring our fans different experiences and, along with our team, sponsors and world class promoters, we believe you will enjoy these beautiful venues with American Made Music from some of the best in the country, bluegrass, gospel and comedy genres.”

“We’re excited to invite fans to join us as we present some of the best music and entertainment in America at some of the nicest venues,” added Darrin Vincent. “Jamie and I, along with a few of our dearest friends, will bring a musical experience fans will love. The venues are easy to access, and offer local accommodations and activities for the entire family.”

Today’s announcement, which originated with Billboard, proves marked growth for the Grand Ole Opry members despite a time of continued uncertainty, cementing their reputation as innovators and entrepreneurs. Their flagship three-day festival in Hiawassee, Ga. (originally branded LANDFEST) has historically sold out, and previously featured the talents of Josh Turner, Ricky Skaggs, The Oak Ridge Boys, Lee Greenwood, Diamond Rio, Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye, Aaron Tippin, Bellamy Brothers, Jimmy Fortune, Del McCoury Band, The Earls of Leicester, Sierra Hull, Jake Hoot, The Malpass Brothers, IIIrd Tyme Out, and Flatt Lonesome, The Primitive Quartet, and The Singing Contractors, among others.

The festival series will act as an extension of the group’s three-time Emmy® Nominated TV show The Dailey & Vincent Show (currently airing on Circle Network, previously airing on RFD-TV) which, like Dailey & Vincent themselves, features “the best of country, bluegrass and gospel this side of heaven” (USA Today) (guests have included Vince Gill, Trace Adkins, Tanya Tucker, Clint Black, Easton Corbin, The Oak Ridge Boys, Dan Tyminski, Bill Anderson, Jake Hoot, Jimmy Fortune, Jeannie Seely, The Malpass Brothers, and more). The nationally televised and variety hour has long served as an example of the group’s brand: since their inception, Dailey & Vincent’s unique marriage of genres has made them three-time GRAMMY® nominees in country, bluegrass, and for a gospel record, and garnered nine #1 Billboard charting records.

Additional lineup announcements, timing, and information to come. Tickets for all five festivals will be available at www.americanmademusicfestivals.com and daileyandvincent.com. Each festival will be following all state and local laws, rules, and regulations to ensure the safety of everyone involved during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Dailey & Vincent to be Recognized at 50th Annual Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Multi-GRAMMY nominated duo Dailey & Vincent will be recognized at the 50th Annual Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival on Saturday, July 3 in Downtown Smithville, Tenn. for their contributions as one of the most popular bands in contemporary American music, embracing bluegrass, country and gospel.

Darrin Vincent will be celebrated by the State of Tennessee with an unveiling of his “Tennessee Music Pathways” marker on the square in his hometown during the Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree at 5 p.m. CT. Launched by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development in 2018, Tennessee Music Pathways is an online planning guide that connects visitors to the state’s rich musical heritage at tnmusicpathways.com. From the largest cities to the smallest communities, Tennessee Music Pathways stretches across all 95 counties and features hundreds of landmarks from the seven genres of music that call Tennessee home.

Jamie Dailey will also be honored at the event as the recipient of the Fiddlers’ Jamboree’s 2021 Blue Blaze Award. The Blue Blaze Award is designed to honor an individual or group that keeps the embers of bluegrass music burning for future generations. The Blue Blaze Panel Committee for the Jamboree voted unanimously for Dailey’s nomination for the 2021 award citing his long-running contributions to bluegrass music. Following the presentations, Dailey & Vincent will perform a mini-concert on the main stage.

Although Dailey & Vincent only began performing regularly as a duo in 2008, they’d both had extensive careers in bluegrass and had sung together informally since 2001. Vincent met Dailey, then working with Doyle Lawson, in October 2001 at the International Bluegrass Music Association awards show in Louisville, Ky. When they sang together, they discovered that their voices blended well. Their first duet recording was for a multi-artist collection, Christmas Grass Volume 2, produced by Vincent and released in 2004. They performed “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem” for the collection.

Dailey & Vincent decided to work together as a duet. In January 2007, they handed in one-year notices to Skaggs and Lawson. Their first show together was at the Grand Ole Opry, staged at the Ryman Auditorium, on Dec. 29, 2007. Their debut album, Dailey & Vincent, was released in January 2008 and success swiftly followed. At the 2008 IBMA awards, they made history by winning Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year. Their debut album was named Album of the Year and a song from it, “By the Mark,” received the Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year award.

Dailey & Vincent have continued to record and tour prolifically, taking their show overseas and throughout the United States. As of 2021, they have received five GRAMMY Awards individually, three GRAMMY nominations collectively, six Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association and 35 IBMA Awards altogether.

Through their long-term sponsorship with Gus Arrendale and Springer Mountain Farms, Dailey & Vincent have continued to expand their fanbase. In 2013, they launched their annual Landfest in the Mountains festival, first in Denton, NC, and subsequently in Hiawassee, GA, with plans to grow nationally. Their “Dailey and Vincent Show” debuted on RFD-TV in May 2015, switching to the Opry’s television network, Circle, in April 2020, and has received multiple Emmy nominations. Dailey & Vincent have also partnered with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for five CDs and a DVD release.

In March 2017, Dailey and Vincent were inducted as the 213th members of the Grand Ole Opry—the event they both cite as the highlight of their careers.

DAILEY & VINCENT ANNOUNCE LINEUP FOR SEVENTH ANNUAL LANDFEST IN THE MOUNTAINS AND ON THE LAKE

With the hope of giving fans something to look forward to amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dailey & Vincent and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds have announced today the full Artist lineup for their annual LandFest In The Mountains & On The Lakes music festival, presented by Springer Mountain Farms and celebrating the best of American music. The festival, which will return to Hiawassee, Ga. This year’s festival will feature performances by the GRAMMY®-nominated group, along with headliners Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, Dailey & Vincent, and a special 2-hour Salute to the Grand Ole Opry featuring Opry Stars Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Dailey & Vincent, comedian Karen Mills, and hosted by the iconic and legendary Eddie Stubs. Their unique marriage of genres has made them three-time GRAMMY® nominees in country, bluegrass, and for a gospel record, earned them membership with the prestigious Grand Ole Opry, garnered nine #1 country, bluegrass and gospel Billboard charting records, and helped launch their national weekly television series The Dailey & Vincent Show, now in its fourth year on RFD-TV.

Grand Ole Opry Announces Ricky Skaggs and Dailey & Vincent To Perform On The 4,920th Consecutive Saturday Night Broadcast April 18

Circle Television To Broadcast Opry Live at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
– (April 15, 2020) – For the past five weeks, amidst the current COVID-19 crisis and without an audience in attendance, the Grand Ole Opry has remained on the air as it has for 4,919 consecutive Saturday nights for nine decades. Helping keep the circle unbroken during this time, Opry members and special guests spanning multiple generations and encompassing rising newcomers, established superstars, awarded musicians, songwriters, storytellers and family members have stepped on to the Opry stage showcasing the many styles under the country music umbrella  that have represented the values and traditions that have built and continued to shape the Grand Ole Opry for 95 years.

This Saturday, April 18 Opry members and bluegrass legends Ricky Skaggs, an Opry member since 1982, 15-time Grammy winner and a member of both the Country Music and Bluegrass Music Halls of Fame, and country, bluegrass and gospel greats Dailey & Vincent, Opry members since 2017, will step in to the circle for the 4,920th consecutive Saturday night broadcast which will be broadcast live on Circle Television. The two Opry member acts will be joined on stage by instrumental virtuosos Andy Leftwich, Jeff Taylor, and Seth Taylor.

Opry members Luke Combs, who was officially inducted into the Opry last summer, and Craig Morgan, a member since 2008, will step in to the unbroken circle for the Saturday, April 25 broadcast of the Opry which will also be broadcast live on Circle Television.

The Opry will be broadcast live on both Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, April 25 at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT on Circle, and on Gray TV stations, DISH Studio Channel 102, Sling TV and other TV affiliates in addition to a companion live stream on Circle All Access Facebook and YouTube channels. TV and radio personality Bobby Bones will host the Circle telecast, while Opry announcer Mike Terry will join the Opry’s radio audience at the announcer podium. Embracing today’s technology, the Opry will be broadcast and streamed with a very small production team. The show’s artists will perform acoustically at a recommended social distance across the Opry stage.

Fans around the world can also tune in to the broadcast on the Opry’s flagship radio home, 650 AM-WSM and several other outlets. Those tuning into the Livestream on the Circle All Access YouTube and Facebook channels this week can watch Circle Sessions with artists at home at 7:30 PM ET/ 6:30 PM CT immediately prior to the live Opry and catch a special episode of Dailey & Vincent Show at 9 PM ET/ 8 PM CT after the Opry.

Opry fans are invited to contribute to the Opry’s #UNBROKEN charitable campaign which raises money for the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. The fund benefits artists and musicians struggling through the pandemic-- some of the very people who write, make and create the music that has kept the music alive on the Opry stage for almost 95 years. Fans can donate via text UNBROKEN to 41444.

With Nashvillians at home under Nashville Mayor John Cooper’s “Safer at Home” order and live shows paused at the Grand Ole Opry to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, this Saturday’s performance will once again take place without a live audience. Amid current COVID-19 concerns, the Opry, the world’s longest-running radio show, has paused all shows with a live Opry House audience through the end of April. Fans are invited to follow the Opry on social media and visit opry.com for show and tune in updates. Grand Ole Opry management has worked closely with Nashville’s Director of Health to bring the show live to millions around the world while following strict safety protocols under the guidance of local health professionals.

Each week millions of fans in dozens of countries around the world have tuned in live over the past five weeks to video stream or listen to legendary Opry members Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely and Connie Smith as well as Mandy Barnett, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Sam Williams took to the stage on March 14 as the Opry show went on the air without a live ticketed audience. On March 21, Opry members and some of the greatest storytellers in music Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Marty Stuart performed acoustically from the Opry House stage. On March 28, Gill returned to the stage to perform acoustically with members of his family: wife Amy Grant and daughters Jenny Gill and Corrina Grant Gill. The March 28 show Opry member Terri Clark, plus Lauren Alaina and Ashley McBryde and last week’s show the Opry hosted an Easter celebration featuring Opry member Trace Adkins with Jason Crabb and T.
